Week 7 Recap
October 23rd, 2007 | by aaron |Last week was all about stv1313. He won 3 out of our 6 freerolls (though he only played in 5), and crushed in overall points.
In terms of athletes, Tom Brady was the man. He threw up 50.16 points on Sunday, making him far and away the highest scorer of the week. Out of the 6 freeroll leagues, the player with Brady won 4, and came in a very close second (4 points) in one. Seattle’s defense generated a whopping 32 points, helping stv1313 overcome Brady in the two leagues where the player owning him didn’t win.
The First Amendment Freeroll, held on Thursday, was our largest to date, and one of the most exciting. We let 10 people play in that one, and four remained in contention for most of Sunday, and even after that there was still the possibility for an upset Monday night. It came down to the wire, and in the end rotodestroyer took first, nudging out crazy4040 by a mere 3 points to take home our largest prize to date.
