Great Sites and My Very First Call Out Session

October 19th, 2007 | by aaron |

Due to technical difficulties “The Gospel” series will resume next week. In the meantime feel free to check out Bruno Boys Week 7 Quarterbacks, Running Backs, and Wide Receivers.

You can also check out a great source of information in the Fantasy Football Goats Start ‘em Sit ‘em and Sleepers for Week 7. BTW, check out the player of the week Adrian Peterson.

For those of you who enjoy surprises and want a few hints as to what the surprises may include, take a look at The Fantasy Football Geek and his Week 7 shockers.

If you like a little controversy check out Sportaphile and his “Why I No Longer Like Randy Moss, And Why T.O. Is Better” This is actually pretty funny and a definite blood boiler for those who like and appreciate the play of Randy Moss. That be me! However, its all in fun and opinions matter.

Also, for those who are interested in playing in weekly fantasy football contests check out DraftMix for some added competition. In only two weeks of play I have turned $0 into $185 on their freerolls alone.

DraftMix is beginning to take off, but what surprises me the most is the fact that all of these supposed fantasy football guru’s and supposed fantasy football experts have not even attempted to compete. Anyone can draft a team in a free league without any pressure then blog about how great they are for an entire season. Okay, so what you’ve avoided injuries and you have the lowest points against in the league and you’re 5-1 or undefeated. Don’t get me wrong that’s all fine and dandy (when you have nothing to lose or no risks), but can you draft a lineup on a weekly basis using your very own start’em sit’em list or can you stand behind your never-ending guess work of fantasy surprises and sleepers that aren’t really sleepers. On the other hand, what about these so called waiver wire pickups that we all so adamantly suggest owners to pick up? Will you draft one in a free competition and ride him out for the week, or will you just continue to select the obvious choices and the most recognizable names in the league? Whatever the case may be or whatever you prefer come draft and prove this supposed never-ending knowledge of the NFL and Fantasy Football. It’s free and you can win real money! Why wouldn’t you? In other words, Put-Up or Shut-Up.

Here is my personal invite to all bloggers, players or just an ordinary fan. DraftMix.com come play!

BTW, read more on ex-rapper Biz Markie becoming a Dallas Cowboy.
