Constant Change
July 30th, 2007 | by aaron |Add Frank Gore to the list of players already changing the landscape of fantasy football. With a broken hand Gore is expected to miss all of preseason. The big question now is will Gore be able to hold onto the ball and will he be as effective catching the ball out of the backfield. With six total fumbles and five fumbles lost in 2006 this could play huge in the upcoming fantasy football season.
If there is one thing I know about football, its that no matter how many yards you’re capable of gaining, coaches will not tolerate a runningback who fumbles the football.
I’m sure Gore will be ready for the season and possibly before then, however, if he doesn’t solve his fumbling issues then there could be a problem.
