Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs have gotten better this offseason. With Garcia are they capable of scoring points unlike other Buc’s teams in the past? That’s the million dollar question when it comes to this franchise.

Jeff Garcia: Once again Garcia is in a situation to win and when he’s been in this situation before in the past, he has always performed well. At 37 years Garcia still has the mobility and with his veteran leadership qualities he has shown that he can guide an average team to winning status. Look for Garcia to play just as well in Tampa as he did in ‘Philly’. Maybe not a top ten but a good backup who could very easily create a QB controversy on your franchise.

Cadillac Williams: Cadillacs just aren’t what they used to be. After an oil change, tune-up and realignment look for this Cadillac to run smoother than it did in ‘06′. On the other hand, a suspect offensive line could cause Cadillac to backfire at times. Look for this former rookie of the year to add depth to your roster. A solid second or possibly a third option at RB.

Joey Galloway: Even at the age of 35 Galloway remains a quality receiver in this league. He’s never had the ability to catch 100 balls, but his steady play and his big play threat has always kept Galloway as an excellent 2nd receiver option.

DEFENSE: Not the dominant Bucs defense that we have all grown accustomed to watching in the past. However, after a couple of offseason acquisitions and hopefully a healthy Simeon Rice, this unit should improve from ‘06′ where they only produced 25 sacks and 11 interceptions. I believe the Bucs who have consistently turned opportunities into realization will recover from last seasons sub-par performance.

Clayton/Hilliard: Clayton hasn’t proven himself and in my opinion, I’m surprised that he has remained on this roster and even though Hilliard is worse, I would still give the starting job just because Clayton is too stupid to take advantage of his NFL opportunity.
