Washington Redskins (WR’s, Defense)

Santana Moss: Moss is a hit or miss type of player. He’s never had consistent back to back seasons and if he continues his trend of bad, good, bad, good, bad, (not counting his injury season as a rookie) then this is the year to have him. Moss is definitely not a #1 receiver option on any fantasy roster however, he could prove to be a tremendous addition in the #2 spot if he continues to follow his pattern.

B. Lloyd/A. Randle El: If Jason Campbell plays with any type of consistency one of these two receivers will definitely show improvement. Is either player worthy of a fantasy selection? I think not! Maybe a supplemental draft or free-agency.

DEFENSE: Fred Smoot returns and according to him, he has returned a different man. Still the same trash talking lock-down corner, but smarter now. The only problem, the ‘Skins’ produced 19 sacks and 12 takeaways for the entire 2006 season. With a few key additions this unit should improve, however, not enough to consider in any fantasy draft.

Chris Cooley: “Mr. Girly Shorts” Did anyone tell Cooley that he wasn’t at a bodybuilding competition and didn’t have to wear a pair of thongs to practice?

Young QB’s tend to rely on good TE’s and if Cooley loses the shorts, he will contribute at this position. He remains in the group of mediocre fantasy TE’s.

Shaun Suisham: If you want to lose credibility, act like you know something about this guy. I could make something up and pretend like I know everything about the NFL (even Shaun Suisham), but I’d feel like a real ass if I tried.
