You Better ‘Aks’ Somebody

Last nights third contest of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cavs/Pistons is the exact reason why others refer to me as, “FanProphet”. I made a few comments regarding the outcome of game 3 and which players will “come up big” to help me take a 2-1 advantage in the series.

Sure, their are quite a few things that irritate me about Lebron James’ NBA game, the things that irritate me are the same things that irritate me about my young children. At times, I expect them to learn and never make mistakes, be on their best behavior at all times, and become self-sufficient as soon as possible. On the other hand, I want to be supportive and enjoy watching their development, instead of nitpicking their flaws, immaturity, and shortcomings.

Lebron is like a child who surprises us when they do or say something that we didn’t realize they had in them, once they show us the first time, we later forget that they are only children. As fans we cannot expect Lebron to play like a ten-year veteran every game, much the same as not expecting my young children to act like adults.

Like I said, the Cavs will win big, Lebron and Z will play well on their home court, and I will take a 2-1 series lead in our conference finals fantasy matchup. Now the question is, will Lebron be able to repeat those efforts? You better ‘aks’ somebody!

Lebron is a champion, a star, a phenom, and yes, the Chosen One!
